Gympie Women Connect is a space where all women, from different backgrounds, different stages of life - can come together through various meetups throughout the year.

Our mission is to create a welcoming and empowering environment for women to connect, grow, and thrive. Through meaningful connections, personal development opportunities, and collective support, we aim to uplift women in all areas of life. We are committed to celebrating each woman’s unique journey, standing with her through triumphs and challenges, and fostering a culture of giving back to our community.
A community for all women, within the Gympie region

A space of connection and empowerment - we hold various events throughout the year celebrating and sharing. Keep connected with our upcoming events here.
Gympie Women Connect is associated with Gympie Women in Business, but is for any woman - in business or not.

We are so excited to introduce our first guest speaker for International Women's Day...
Evangeline Goodfellow, affectionately known as Angel, was born in Sydney. She is a mother to two older sons and has travelled widely. Her career path has spanned a variety of roles, from Beauty Therapy, Private Investigator/Bouncer, Youth Worker & Creative Director, but her lifelong passion for Art stems from her artistic and musical family background. She holds qualifications in Creative Arts, Therapeutic Art, Community Welfare, and Youth Work. Angel develops and facilitates Creative Art programs & Murals for a diverse array of organizations and corporate clients nationwide, with significant experience working with the most disadvantaged members of the community.
Throughout Angel’s life, she has faced circumstances that no one should endure, yet she demonstrates remarkable resilience, grace, and a passion to not just survive but thrive. Her experiences have instilled in her a drive to help other women overcome their challenges, inspiring them to seek their own strength and rise above. Mental health is a cause close to her heart, and her work continues to advocate for awareness and support. With her specialised training, she began to create programs that harness the transformative power of art to support emotional healing and growth.
Her work led her to expand her business alongside her best friend of over 15 years, Natalie Haestier, creating “Heart & Soul Sisters Creative Experiences.” Together, they deliver award-winning programs like the “Inside Out” Art Torso Program and impactful murals, reaching diverse organizations, corporate clients, and the most disadvantaged members of the community.
Angel’s mission is clear: to help individuals express their emotions, dismantle barriers, and discover hope and joy by “using art as their voice.” Her programs and initiatives provide not just creative outlets but also a safe space for healing and transformation.
On March 8th at International Women's Day 2025, Angel will share her inspiring story, revealing how the trials she endured shaped her path and led to the creation of her impactful business, and life. Her journey is a testament to the power of resilience, creativity, and compassion. Join us for an incredible evening full of connection, inspiration and empowerment (minus the fluff).
